Pastelings

I am drawn to the look of color and visual texture that can be had through the use of dry pastel. It is important to me to maintain the interest I find in images created with pastels. Abstraction allows me to keep the visual integrity I prefer in my images. Everyday objects, occupationally, domestic and educational elements are represented in my drawings and the objects are primarily organic. Through this refined method I describe the thing that is what appeals to me.
